Psalm 9

God created Israel for a purpose (Dut 7:7)

Psalm 9 is written in the nationalistic sense of God working with his people to show his glory to all the world.

This Psalm can be applied three ways
     1)Historic
     2)Present
     3)Messianic

I.Praise with the Whole heart (vs 1-2)

II.Perception of God's throne (vs 3-14)

     A. Destruction of the wicked (vs 3-8)

     B. Preservation of the Righteous (vs 9-14)

III.Perishing Man examined (vs vs 15-18)  cf John 3:16

IV.Prayer Offered to God (vs 19-20)
